It's been a quarter of a century since Julian Clary made his now famous remark at the television comedy awards indicating that he'd had rather dirty sex with the then chancellor of the exchequer. For a while he was dropped by a lot of production companies, but you cannot keep a good queer comic down, and today Mr Clary is very much part of the humour establishment in the UK. He has a new show as well – BBC Radio Two's “Censored” goes out on Monday nights at 10pm, and involves celebrity contestants guessing on the meaning of a news article which has had key words bleeped out. Cary's camp humour takes centre stage to guide listeners through the show. You can hear BBC Radio Two on 89.3 FM in Bristol, on 89.9 FM in Somerset and across our region on DAB radio and on Freeview 702.
