The BBC promised an honest assessment on Tuesday night on what it means to be trans in the UK, with a special programme, The Trans Revolution. The Radio Times magazine reports that it lookedat how the internet has suddenly, within a few years, liberated millions of trans people to find each other, and also look at the very swift change in social attitudes and legal provision. But will it also look at the reputation of the BBC itself, which has been accused of harbouring elements hardline feminism opposed to transgender equality. The show was transmitted at 8pm by BBC Radio Four, which in the Greater Bristol area is on 93.7 MHz FM, Freeview Channel 704, Digital DAB radio and on 198 kHz (1515 metres) longwave.
