Thin Privilege Challenged on TV Monday Night

19/10/2020

Totally TV Guide notes that Monday will have some good viewing for LGBTQ viewers of terrestrial and cable television platforms. Although its programmes have sometimes been crticised for being somewhat tabloid, Channel Five does often offer an respectful insight into the lives of people who are living their own values outside of the hetero-patriarchal hegemony. At 10pm on Monday night, Plus Sized Porn meets up with workers in the adult industry who are also challenging views of what makes the body beautiful, and are celebrating people outside thin privilege.

Meanwhile, at 11pm, Sky Arts are broadcasting Queen: Live in Concert from 1982, and a chance to see bisexual Asian hero Farroukh Bolsara, better known to us as Freddie Mercury, at the height of his power. Happy viewing!
