In the United States, the National Centre for Transgender Equality welcomes the publication of a new cartoon storybook, which aims to teach respect for gender diversity and break down isolation of gender non conforming children everywhere. Artist and writer Huxley Ren Bunn is the author of the new children's book "Stan and Allen: A Book About Gender." Says Bunn, “I truly believe these conversations are lifesaving and make all of the difference. Having others respect your gender identity is something everyone deserves. One of the happiest moments of my life was telling my brother about my updated pronouns (he/him) and hearing him say, ‘I love you, brother!’” If you think you might like a copy of the book, why not ensure money stays in the community by buying from an independent or even better, an LGBTQIA operated bookstore.
