Reading Pride is Popular as Thousands Attend

12/09/2022

BBC Radio Berkshire reports that at least thirteen thousand people took part in Reading Pride on Saturday 3rd September. Acts that performed at the King’s Meadow park included Girls' Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, 'Mickey'-singer, Lolly and RuPaul's Drag Race UK's Sum Ting Wong. Earlier in the day, a parade had marched through the town centre, both political but also highly celebratory. Local alt-rock band Elucidate performed on the Pride Live stage, which hosted acoustic sets. "We've never done an acoustic set before but it's been really fun," guitarist Caleb Paice said. Community radio station B-Radio on 95.6 FM in Reading also covered Pride extensively as a media partner. https://www.readingpride.co.uk/
