North Somerset LGBT Forum has been in touch with all its supporters. They are addressing issues of loneliness that are likely to affect many people this year, during a “lockdown” Christmas. But, just as your community and specialist radio stations will be with you through Christmas and the New Year, so the wonders of internet technology are coming to the rescue for LGBT people in North Somerset. Throughout Christmas Week, the Forum is organising live sessions on such platforms as Facebook and Zoom, with different themes, including a “Play Your Cards Right” Quiz, practical craft classes, and the chance to join a group chat with a glass of whatever floats your boat.
