L Fest Announces 2022 Dates

Pink UK alerts us to the fact of something we missed last week. Femme Fest took place at the beginning of September, being the leading music and dance festival for LBTQ+ women. Taking place at Matlock in Derbyshire, music styles transcended what used to pass for women's music culture and included a wide variety of female DJ talent spinning dance, reggae, soul and pop music, together with tribute acts to Lady Ga Ga, Madonna and the late great, queer friendly Amy Winehouse. Meanwhile, another lesbian led festival, Lfest, which is also open to all queer women, has announced that it will be taking place over the weekend of July 22nd at Llundudno, on the beautiful coast of North Wales.
