Russell T Davies, whose writing for television has always included a wide range of characters with differing experiences, was given the Outstanding Impact Award. His new series, “It''s A Sin” is situated in a gay community impacted by AIDS in the eighties. Kylie Minogue won the Allyship Award. “I am incredibly honoured to receive this award. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Kylie said in a video message. Arlo Parks was given the accolade of Emerging Artist in Music. And the Community Trailblazer honour was conferred on Mermaids, a charity working with transgender youth.
