Independent newspaper B247 says that for the first time in nearly forty years, an LGBTQIA Community Centre could be a reality for Bristol. Activist Mark Ferbache is in negotiations with the City Council on the lease of a building believed to be in the Old Market Area, close to the heart of alternative and multicultural Bristol. Look out for a fundraising night taking place at the end of July and visit our website for a link to the project's Go Fund Me crowdsourcing page. Come on, LGBTQIA Bristol, we can do this, and have a space, which as the project organisers say, will cater for all aspects of our rainbow family, from gay men to lesbian travellers, from queer Muslims to atheist bisexuals and everyone in between. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-make-outspace-a-reality?utm_campaign=...
