The Pansy Project is in town this weekend (2nd and 3rd October) courtesy of the M Shed Museum and its ongoing commitment to the history of ordinary people. Paul Harfleet started the Pansy Project as a witnessing project to highlight homophobia all over Europe. He plans a single pansy at the sites of homophobia and photographs them for his website at www.thepansyproject.com. On Saturday, Paul will be walking through the city and stopping at sites of homophobic abuse or assault. The Mshed say that it is a chance to share stories of being a Bristolian and a member of the LGBTQIA community. On Sunday, join Paul for workshops about his world of floral referencing. Details are available from the Mshed website.
