Bank Holiday Sunday, 28th August, will see a day of community action headed up by North Somerset LGBT+ Forum. At 9.30am at the organisation’s headquarters in Meadow Street, Weston-Super-Mare, a new piece of installation art will be unveiled. This is designed to stand proudly in the lobby of the Forum and was created by local artist Aaron Spencer. From 10am at the Other Place Venue at 81 Meadow Street, there will be a Jumble Sale plus stalls run by local and queer owned businesses, including Against the Grain Woodcraft and Pixie Dust Resins. Finally, there will be a gaming board games night from 5pm at the Sancutary Café in Orchard Street. Places must be booked for this aspect of the day and you can do so at support@nslgbtforum.com.
