Bristol's Amnesty Bookstore Back in Business

17/09/2020

Amnesty International have announced that their Bristol bookstore at 103 Gloucester Road is reopening, although on reduced hours of weekdays 10.30am to 3.30pm.  The shop has been an essential place for booklovers to visit and has traditionally sold a variety of LGBTQ texts.  Donations are always welcome, as are customers, and every penny spent goes towards the work of Amnesty which campaigns on behalf of prisoners of conscience and has, since 1991, a strong policy on LGBTQ rights and the need to protect persecuted LGBTQ people globally.  https://www.amnesty.org.uk/ The Amnesty International Shop is now online and fully stocked for the festive season of 2020, selling a variety of fairtrade, organic and ethically sourced gifts, including its excellent range of Pride supporting gifts.  Who knows, you might find something there for your auntie Mabel.  Pop along to https://amnestyshop.org.uk/.
