"Mid Life" Consideration of Women at Old Vic

23/12/2019

The top and very historical Bristol theatre The Old Vic has left a huge bundle of brochures for its 2020 season at the Old Market Tavern, one of the top gay meeting places in Bristol. “Mid Life” will be running for two periods during the winter and spring of 2020. It deals with the lives of menopausal women from a wide variety of backgrounds, taking a respectful but fun look at society's demands on females of this age demographic. The play is based on recorded interviews conducted by dozens of women across the city of Bristol, and made over the last couple of years. The Bristol Old Vic was founded in 1766 and is one of the UK's longest continually running theatres. The venue includes a state of the art fairtrade coffee shop and is well worth visiting even if you do not plan on viewing a theatre production.
