Local LGBTQIA Firm Launches Ethical Coasters

13/07/2021

Well, we like to big up local businesses in our fair city, and particularly those engaged in ethical trade. Gay run design studio Hartzak, which takes its name from the word for “bear” in the Basque language, is marking summer by introducing a range of ethical reclaimed wood coasters, boasting some of the brand's iconic LGBTQ and bear friendly designs. Hartzak are a Bristol bred company, but has an international feel. Their artistic director is Enrique Areitioaurtena, who is Deaf, from the Basque country, gay and into the wonderful world of superhero comics.... Can't you just hear the Daily Mail have an apopleptic breakdown!
