The January issue of alternative Bristol newspaper B247 is out now. On its monthly LGBT page are a number of highlights of the year 2020 which are hotly anticipated by its editors. DragProv Revue, a fusion between old fashoned drag and improvisation theatre, is one tipped event, taking place on twenty eighth February. Eat Up is also recommended. Taking place on the eleventh of January at the Exchange, the showcase of queer bands will allow the latetst LGBTQ rock talent to warm up the cold winter night. The Exchange is an LGBTQ vegetarian friendly venue at the bottom of Old Market Street at the gateway to the city's traditional gay village. And another thing looked forward to by the B247 editors is “Transcend” festival. Taking place near Bristol in the beautiful west country rural scene, this festival of music and events for the trans, gender non binary and intersex community is going to be held in July and will be an amazing celebration and life affirming showcase of the community's talent.
