Bath Uni blocks research into "De-transition"

Bath Spa University has blocked a counsellor for therapy for transgender people from writing a thesis on “de-transition” as it may be seen to be “politically incorrect”. James Caspian said he was astonished by the decision. He said “I think that a university exists to encourage discussion, research - dissent even, challenging perhaps ideas that are out of date or not particularly useful.” James wanted to study people who had undergone surgery then regretted it having found no research had ever been done on the subject. The University is currently concluding an internal investigation into the matter.
