Rainbow Over Bristol Hails Pride Weekend

On the eve of Pride Bristol, the heavens opened and there was a downpour of torrential rain (as had been forecast by both BBC, ITV and local television station Made in Bristol).  Confirmation that God is displeased with Pride?  Not on your nelly.  The rain soon lifted into a fine mist and with the sun breaking through, the a beautiful high visibility and vibrant rainbow showed over St Paul’s and the City Centre.  God is pleased with Pride.  Indeed, this is an important point to make, regardless of your religious belief or non belief. 

Much spiritual damage has been done to LGBTQ people by claims by fraudulent far right wing groups that God favours only heterosexuals and cisgender bigots.  God does not.  As the pop star Little Richard said in a 1984 interview on Radio Luxembourg:  “Jesus Loves Gay People”.  Explore these links and find that spirituality and difference are totally compatible.
