Dana International for Brum Festival - JC

The Jewish Chronicle newspaper reports that Israel's most famous trans singing sensation, Dana International, will be appearing at the Limmud Festival in Birmingham during December. Dana senstationally won the Eurovision Song Contest for Israel in 1998, with the club hit “La Diva”, which is still a staple of gay playlists around the globe. Speaking to the Chronicle, which is the UK's oldest Jewish newspaper, Dana said “I’m happy we’ll have a chance to talk about Israel, especially the culture and changes of the Israeli LGBTQ community, with Israeli TV interviewer Yigal Ravid — and that I will get to see Limmud in action.”
