LGBT Politicos Engage in "Lush" SpyCops Ad

02/06/2018

Several LGBT bloggers have been urging the community to support LUSH, the ethical cosmetics and toiletries chain, which has come under astonishing fire from the Daily Mail newspaper. The Mail, which is considered by many to be implacably homophobic and transphobic, attacked the popular store because of its latest political campaign, which exposes the activities of police infiltration into environmental, animal rights and other progressive movements. In the past, it is commonly believed that LGBT activist groups such as the GLF, OutRage and the Lesbian Avengers were targetted for this type of police infiltration, although in recent years, this has dropped away, given that gay and trans rights have become more mainstream. However, it still goes on in many other campaign groups. You can find out more at the LUSH website, to which we have linked on our newspage.
