The Jewish Chronicle newspaper reports that the Home Office has banned a twenty four year old neo-nazi from visiting the United Kingdom. Matthew Heimbach is listed by the Anti-Defamation League as anti-semitic, homophobic and a white supremacist. He has been involved in organising extreme right wing activity for some years and the Home Office has been congratulated by the Jewish led Community Trust for preventing him from entering the country from his native United States. Like many within the white supremacist movement, Heimbach’s politics are a hotchpotch of conspiracy theories, such as that Jews and homosexuals are destroying European culture. At the same time, Heimbach has applauded the activities of Islamic fundamentalists – who oppose European security.
