Naomi Campbell, the black British model, has spoken to BBC2's “Newsnight” programme to endorse varied and diverse body shapes and types on the catwall. Ms Campbell, whom the BBC's Emily Maitiless talked to last week, is described as being “at the top of the fashon industry for the last thirty years”. She told the BBC team that she was delighted that there were more black, Asian and gender fluid bodies on the catwalk scenes of Europe and the States. She also said that beauty could come in diverse forms and that it was great that disabled and differently sized bodies were being embraced by the fashion industries. Ms Campbell is one of the most celebrated models of the last few decades and is considered by many as the most beautiful woman in the world.
