Abortion Reforms Needed - CWU Union

The communist daily paper The Morning Star reported this Monday on the Communication Workers Union conference, which passed a resolution saying that the current legal requirement for a pregnancy termination to be signed off by two doctors, should be scrapped. Speaking for the union, Vera Kelsey explained “Women still face the threat of being sentenced to life if they terminate their own pregnancies by pills [procured] on the internet”.
