Far Right Eyes Fourth Term in Hungary

08/04/2018

The Times newspaper reports that Victor Orban's far right wing government in Hungary is eyeing a fourth term in power at this weekend's elections.  The government has been anti-EU and anti-gay, but this time has been most criticised for its deeply troubling posters, which the Chief Rabbi of Budapest has described as echoing those of the 1930's, when Hungary threw in its lot with Nazi Germany and soon collaborated in the deportation of half a million Jews, Gypsies and other groups to death camps.
