BBC Radio Two, which with its populist call in show with Jeremy Vine, has been described as the Daily Mail reader’s daytime listening, is to gain some much needed representation from the LGBT communities from January 2019. Rylan Clarke-Neal, who has been a well liked face on Channel Four Television in recent years, is to replace Zoe Ball on a Sunday afternoon. Rylan stood in for Zoe during her holidays this summer and proved a hit with listeners. He told the Media Website “RCS” that he was really looking forward to working with the great team that produces the afternoon programmes at the station.
