Support for Full PSHE Education from Govt.

10/03/2019

Campaigners have welcomed the news from central government that full Health and Relationships Education is to be implemented in state schools with effect from the 2020 Academic Year.  BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat strand said that a wide variety of health and safety charities had endorsed the government policy and said that it would help young LGBT people amongst others.  In the future, younger members of society would also be more protected from the nastier sides of the internet, with educators being able to give lessons on net safety, cyber bullying and how to distinguish between reality and the large amount of lies and misinformation in the virtual world.
