We love reporting on successes in the gay media, and we are delighted to note that, despite the general decline in the print media in this unglamorous internet age, several gay, lesbian, bi and transgender magazines and papers have survived. Gay and bi men's paper “Boyz” has just turned issue number fourteen hundred, having been founded way back in 1991. The magazine began life as a newspaper sized publication, with its famous gay pin ups at the back, and a lively correspondence page where men could meet other guys into similar interests. Today, it's an A4 magazine format weekly publication, but still lovingly produced from the heart of the gay scene in London. Here in the West Country, you can pick up your free copy from the LGBT lifestyle shop Prowler on Bond Street.
