Submerge Festival Showcases LGBT Talent

21/03/2019

The new issue of local magazine B247 is out now, an independent and ethical newspaper for the Greater Bristol area. The mag meets up with the curator of Submerge, a festival that has been revived in 2019 after a three year break, and has been taking place during March at venues across the city including the Arnolfini and Colston Hall. Simon, the prime mover in Submerge, identifies as a queer artist, and speaks of his hope that the festival of progressive digital culture has given voice to transgender artists and people of colour as well as lesbian and gay people too.
